Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Terry returns in place of Gary Cahill, who is not included in the starting line-up after incurring impaired vision from the mask that he was forced to wear due to the broken nose he suffered in the defeat to Manchester City last month. It means that Kurt Zouma retains his place in the side alongside Terry, with Chelsea looking to return to winning ways following the defeat to Crystal Palace last time out.
With Thibaut Courtois ruled out for up to three months after undergoing knee surgery on Friday, Asmir Begovic returns to the starting line-up, while the only other change sees Jon Obi Mikel come in for Willian in a bid to offer the Blues’ leaky defence more protection against the Toffees.
Everton make two changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Tottenham as both Bryan Oviedo and Tom Cleverley miss out through injury.
Brendan Galloway is named on the left of the defence, while Muhamed Besic comes into midfield to replace Cleverley after the England midfielder suffered ankle ligament damage.
John Stones retains his place in the line-up two weeks after Chelsea saw four bids rejected for him in the transfer window, although Everton manager Roberto Martinez insists he will be in the right frame of mind to face the club he could have joined in the summer.
