From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Arsenal make one enforced change from the defeat at Barcelona for the trip to Everton with Francis Coquelin coming in for the injured Mathieu Flamini.

Arsene Wenger, the Gunners manager, has come in for intense media scrutiny in recent weeks as their Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League aspirations all suffered either considerable set-backs or knock-out blows.

Overhauling the 11 point gap to leaders Leicester City remains their only chance of winning silverware this season after Watford knocked them out of the FA Cup last weekend.

Danny Welbeck continues up front for Wenger’s men, keeping Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott on the bench, while Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez continue in midfield.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez, on the other hand, names Romelu Lukaku at the top of his attack at Goodison Park with Ross Barkley and Aaron Lennon sitting behind the powerful Belgian international.

John Stones starts on the bench with Ramiro Funes Mori and Phil Jagielka beginning from the start for the visit of Arsenal in Merseyside.

Today's line-ups...

Everton: Joel, Baines, Funes Mori, Jagielka (c), Coleman, McCarthy, Besic, Cleverley, Lennon, Barkley, Lukaku.

Subs: Howard, Stones, Kone, Niasse, Deulofeu, Osman, Galloway.

Arsenal: Ospina, Koscielny, Bellerin, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Iwobi, Elneny, Sanchez, Ozil, Welbeck.

Subs: MAcey, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Chambers, Campbell, Walcott, Giroud.
