Your support makes all the difference.Manuel Pellegrini has decided to keep £55million summer signing Kevin De Bruyne on the Manchester City bench, despite David Silva and Raheem Sterling both being out.
Sterling was expected to play and travelled with the team to Crystal Palace but early reports seem to indicate he has picked up a hamstring injury. Silva's absence was already known.
City tweeted: "For those asking, Raheem Sterling has a small problem and has been left out of the squad as a precautionary measure."
But Pellegrini has opted to bring in Wilfried Bony up front and Samir Nasri in midfield and play a 4-4-2, rather than start the Belgian, as City look to continue their impressive start. Argentinian defender Nicolas Otamendi is also on the bench despite costing £32million from Valencia last month.
Alan Pardew has made three changes to the team that shocked Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but has been forced to change two of his defenders.
Martin Kelly has come in for Joel Ward, who scored the winner against the Blues and Brede Hangeland in for Damien Delaney, who was singled out for great praise for his performance at Chelsea.
Yannick Bolasie has also come in for Connor Wickham.
