Kelechi Iheanacho scored a last-gasp winner to give Manchester City a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The 18-year-old Nigerian smashed the ball home from six yards out in the 88th minute to extend City's unbeaten start to the season and take them five points clear at the top of the table.
Crystal Palace started brightly with Yannick Bolasie testing Joe Hart on two occasions and Yohan Cabaye seeing his strong claim for a penalty dismissed after he was brought down by Fernandinho.
After a a feisty start tempers began to flare when Scott Dann clattered Sergio Aguero with a reckless challenge and the Argentinean hobbled off while clutching his right knee.
But Kevin De Bruyne came on to enjoy an impressive debut and in the second half he put Jesus Navas clean through on goal, but after the Spaniard rounded the goalkeeper he missed an open goal.
City piled on the pressure and surged forward after half time and Palace struggled to break out of their own half, however, Jason Puncheon and substitute Dwight Gayle both went close to giving the hosts the lead.
But with just two minutes left on the clock Nasri fired a low shot from the edge of the box, McCarthy parried and Iheanacho pounced to give City their fifth-straight league victory of the season.
