At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

It’s a big game for…

David Silva: The diminutive Spaniard is yet to score this season, but has been a consistent provider of chances for his fellow attackers. Silva has had to adapt to a slightly more withdrawn role under manager Pep Guardiola since the Catalan arrived in the summer.

Best stat…

Guardiola’s side have won 10 of their past 11 matches against Crystal Palace, scoring 25 goals in that time and conceding just 5. Considering the Eagles’ current dismal run of form, it is hard not to see City improving on that record.

Palace have the worst points per game record in 2016 of any team in English’s top four leagues.

Remember when…

The Eagles effectively ended City’s chances of retaining the league title by beating them 2-1 at Selhurst Park in April 2015, condemning the visitors to their fourth successive away defeat. Jason Puncheon scored a fantastic free-kick to put the hosts 2-0 up before a late consolation goal from Yaya Toure.

Player to watch…

Wilfried Zaha: The former Manchester United winger has been one of Palace’s most impressive performers this season and has provided an assist in each of his last three matches.

Past three meetings…
