Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to be without as many as 10 players for injury-hit Manchester United's Premier League trip to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford were all injured in Sunday’s goalless draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial, meanwhile, will not be risked at Selhurst Park while he continues his recovery from a groin problem.

Nemanja Matic missed Sunday’s draw with Liverpool after picking up an injury in training last week, while Phil Jones is out with an illness.

Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are long-term absentees, though Marcos Rojo is once again in contention.

Solskjaer has been forced to turn to United’s academy for cover amid a mounting injury crisis.

Mason Greenwood is unavailable, but Tahith Chong, James Garner and Angel Gomes have all been promoted to the first-team squad.

Palace will be unable to call upon the services of Mamadou Sakho after he injured his knee in the impressive victory over Leicester City at the weekend.

“[Sakho] won't be playing tomorrow,” said manager Roy Hodgson. “That I can obviously state. I can't yet comment on how serious or minor the injury is."

Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains sidelined with a hamstring problem and Martin Kelly has a muscle injury.
