Diego Costa has not managed to recover from injury for Chelsea’s visit to Crystal Palace with the Spanish striker not even good enough for a place on the bench.

Loic Remy starts in place of Costa while Willian comes in for Andre Schurrle with the German suffering from flu.

Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel have overcome their respective injury concerns but are only on the bench while Ramires is out completely.

Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Palace make just one change from the team that lost 2-0 to Hull in their last game with Brede Hangeland coming in for the injured Scott Dann.

Here’s how the teams line-up today…

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Kelly, Hangeland, Delaney, Ward, Bolasie, Jedinak, McArthur, Ledley, Puncheon, Campbell

Subs: Mariappa, Guedioura, Doyle, Zaha, Hennessey, Gayle, Chamakh

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Remy

Subs: Cech, Zouma, Filipe Luis, Mikel, Salah, Drogba, Solanke
