Eden Hazard, N’golo Kante and Gonzalo Higuain are set to return to Chelsea’s starting line-up against Wolves.

The trio were all benched for the Blues’ Europa League tie against Dynamo Kiev in midweek, with Maurizio Sarri taking advantage of the opportunity to rotate his squad.

Pedro started against Kiev but may retain his starting position after impressing against Tottenham.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored once again during a brief appearance towards the end of the midweek fixture, but is set to remain on the bench after Sarri played down expectations over the 18-year-old.

“I think to have pressure when you are 18 is very dangerous for a player,” Sarri said.

“You can lose the target. When you’re 18 the target is to improve – to improve, tactically, mentally and physically.

“So, it’s dangerous for him. I don’t like to speak about him for this reason.

“Now I think we need to improve without the pressure of the media, without the pressure of the fans, without the pressure of the club.

Provisional squad: Kepa, Caballero, Rudiger, Christensen, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Emerson Palmieri, Alonso, Zappacosta, Ampadu, Jorginho,Kante, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic, Willian, Hudson-Odoi, Hazard, Pedro, Higuain, Giroud.
