Willian has finally revealed what was behind that Instagram post of former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

Following Chelsea's 1-0 win against Manchester United in the FA Cup final, Willian added a photo to his Instagram story of the team celebrating, but Conte was covered by emojis.

Over two months has passed since the Wembley final, and Willian has finally revealed that is was his daughter who got hold of his phone and edited out Conte.

“My daughter was playing with my cell phone and she ended up putting those emojis over Conte,” Willian told ESPN Brasil.

“After the final I got a plane right after the game to come to Brazil. When I got here, early in the morning, I was posting some pictures of the champions and, well, I was a bit too tired and ended up posting them like that.”

Willian’s future has been unclear throughout the summer, with Manchester United and Barcelona said to be interested in the Brazilian, however he put an end to speculation by committing his future to Chelsea.

“I’ve always made it very clear that I’ve always been very happy playing for Chelsea. I never said that I want to leave the club,” he confirmed.

Willian’s relationship with Conte appeared to be problematic, but the 29-year-old is looking forward to a fresh start with new manager Maurizio Sarri. “This is just the beginning," he said when returning to training.

“I’ve been only in three training sessions. We have a new season with a new philosophy, everything is new for everyone. But this team has everything to improve in all aspects."

Chelsea are likely to keep Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge for at least another season, however Thibaut Courtois is nearing a move to Real Madrid.

Sarri wanted a face-to-face meeting with the Belgian goalkeeper but has not been able to do so as Courtois failed to report to training on Monday.

Stoke and England goalkeeper Jack Butland is in line to join Chelsea in an initial £20m deal which could rise to £30m through add-ons.

The Blues will be looking to improve on their fifth-placed finish last season, and begin their Premier League campaign at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
