The new Argentine signing has already had an effect on Chelsea’s attacking with two goals in the 5-0 win over Huddersfield, and Sarri feels that can prove beneficial for Hazard, too.
The playmaker’s future remains uncertain amid interest from Real Madrid, but Sarri said he has only spoken to him about football - and specifically of late his role with Higuain.
“I think Gonzalo is a great player,” Sarri explained. “He did very well everywhere. In Madrid, in Naples, in Milan. Maybe not very well in Milan, but he's a great player and I think he's very useful for Eden.
"They are really very suitable to play together, I think. It's very important for us he's determined. I think the impact with other players will really be very good for us.”
An interview was recently published where Hazard said he has made a “decision” on his future, but Sarri said he has only talked to him about his game.
“I speak every day with Eden, but I speak with Eden about his position on the pitch, not about [speculation]… I will be really very happy with him if he will want to stay, because in my opinion he's the best in Europe.
"And so I would be really very happy, but it's up to him, I think. I want to see him happy. And so, he has to decide.”
