Everton’s official twitter page made a blunder prior to their Sunday lunchtime kick-off against Burnley - naming 12 players in their starting line-up.

Burnley who are level on points at the foot of the Premier League table are in for a tough afternoon against Roberto Martinez’s men with the same number of players, let alone having to face an extra man.

Aiden McGeady was the unlucky man to be removed from the Toffees’ expanded team once the mistake had been rectified, the Scot drops to the bench.

Martinez does go with an attacking line-up regardless, with Samuel Eto’o starting alongside Romelu Lukaku. Ross Barkley is also on the bench today.

For Sean Dyche’s side, Scott Arfield is fit and starts, while Michael Keane has recovered well enough for a spot among the subs.

Their only change from the team that lost 3-1 to West Ham last weekend is Stephen Ward coming in for Ben Mee.

Dean Marney and Steven Reid, who were both hopeful of returns, are both still sidelined.

How the teams line up today…

Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Shackell (c), Duff, Ward; Kightly, Jones, Arfield, Boyd; Jutkiewicz, Ings

Subs: Gilks, Keane, Wallace, Barnes, Sordell, Chalobah, Mee

Everton: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Coleman, Naismith, McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Eto'o, Lukaku

Subs: Robles, Hibbert, Gibson, McGeady, Barkley, Pienaar, Besic
