Christian Benteke. The imposing Belgian netted three goals in his first five league games for the Eagles, suggesting that his confidence was returning after falling out of favour at Liverpool. However, a missed penalty against West Ham followed and he has not scored in his last three matches, with this weekend’s game presenting an ideal opportunity to get back on track.

Best stat…

Burnley faced 32 shots against Manchester United last Saturday and enjoyed only 28% possession, yet still came away with a point from their match at Old Trafford.

Remember when…

the Clarets flew out of the traps at Turf Moor in January 2015, but were defeated courtesy of a goal by Jason Puncheon sandwiched between a Dwight Gayle double?

Player to watch...

Sam Vokes. The Wales striker did not have much of a chance to shine at United last weekend but did score in the Clarets’ previous games against Southampton and Everton. He should have further chances on Saturday against a Palace defence that have let in seven goals in their last two games.
