Just four days after his team lost 7-2 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Spurs were soundly beaten by Brighton.
Spurs made a terrible start to the Premier League match at the AMEX Stadium, conceding after just three minutes following another howler from Hugo Lloris, who appeared to break his arm.
The impressive 19-year-old Aaron Connolly then doubled Brighton’s lead, as Spurs went in for half-time two goals down.
Pochettino switched up his tactics at the break but Spurs were just as poor, eventually conceding a third goal to the outstanding Connolly, who was later handed the man of the match award.
