Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has started Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for this lunchtime’s trip to Bournemouth, making one change from the side which drew with Southampton in midweek.

The 22-year-old winger was an unused substitute for the stalemate against his former club but comes into the team today, replacing fellow wide-man Joel Campbell.

Francis Coquelin, who made an appearance from the bench on Tuesday, finds himself on the sidelines once again, with Mathieu Flamini and Aaron Ramsey preferred at the base of midfield.

The Cherries boss Eddie Howe makes no changes after seeing his side pull off an impressive 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in midweek.

Benik Afobe, who came up through Arsenal’s youth system, starts against his former side.

The 22-year-old striker has scored three goals in four appearances since arriving at the Vitality Stadium for £10million last month.
