Daniel Sturridge starts his first Premier League game since early December in Liverpool's match against Aston Villa.

Jurgen Klopp was able to name the England international in his starting line up for the first time since taking charge at Anfield.

Sturridge plays in an attacking line-up for Liverpool that includes Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho. There is no room for Christian Benteke against his former club, with the striker starting on the bench.

Aston Villa meanwhile named an unchanged side from the team that beat Norwich 2-0.

Aston Villa: Bunn, Richards, Okore, Lescott, Cissokho, Bacuna, Gueye, Westwood, Gil, Veretout, Agbonlahor

Subs: Guzan, Clark, Sinclair, Richardson, Hutton, Lyden, Davis

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Milner, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge

Subs: Ward, Benteke, Caulker, Origi, Ibe, Stewart, Flanagan
