The Gunners have six Premier League matches remaining before the end of the year, and Wenger has claimed that there will come a point this month when Ramsey, who has featured in all of Arsenal’s 13 matches in the division this season, will be given a rest.
"I have to treat him like all the players and give them a breather when they need it," Wenger told arsenal.com. "I don't want to put too much pressure on his shoulders and we have a game that is based on team play."
The Welshman has been the outstanding form this season, and took his goals total up to 14 for club and country after his double against former side Cardiff City on Saturday. The 22-year-old decided not to celebrate the goals, and received warm applause from the home crowd. He still remains the youngest player to ever play for Cardiff, aged 16 years and 124 days.
"I believe he's happy that he won the game, that he came back [to Cardiff] and played well," he said. "But as well he has shown respect for Wales and I have a big respect for the crowd who appreciated that.
"You go to a lot of games and you don't see that a lot. Usually people get booed when they score against their [old] team.
"The crowd deserves to be man of the match."
