Arsene Wenger today admitted that the club are interested in Wilfried Zaha, but denied that the club had made an approach for the Crystal Palace winger.

"We are looking at him, but at the moment we have not made any bid for him," Wenger said.

He also said he did not know if Manchester United had bid for the 20-year-old, saying: "If you call any club for any player they will tell you Man United, Milan and Real Madrid are all well in for him."

Yesterday David Gill, Manchester United's chief executive, said: "He's one of the players we are looking at, but it is far from done." If the club did bid for Zaha, he said, it would be in the summer.

Tottenham are also reported to be interested in the player, but no formal bid has been confirmed by Crystal Palace or any of Zaha's Premier League suitors.
