Olivier Giroud has been reinstated to Arsenal’s starting line-up and will play against Everton after scoring twice in the last two games.

The Frenchman has been given the chance to win his place back after impressive showings from the bench against Watford and Bayern Munich in the past week.

Giroud’s inclusion sees manager Arsene Wenger relegate Theo Walcott to the bench.

Gabriel Paulista also starts in place of Per Mertesacker, who is out of contention with an illness.

The visitors to the Emirates Stadium start with Gerard Deulofeu and Aaron Lennon alongside Ross Barkley in the attacking midfield three.

Romelu Lukaku is up front and youngster Bredan Galloway continues at left-back.
