Arsenal's hopes of securing a top-four spot have been all but extinguished after being held to a 1-1 draw with Brighton.

With one game of the season left, Unai Emery’s men currently sit in fifth place on 67 points – one behind Tottenham in fourth.

The hosts initially took the lead, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang converting from the spot after nine minutes.

But Brighton hit back just after the hour mark with Glenn Murray scoring his own penalty effort to equalise. Arsenal's only hope of securing Champions League football next season now rest in winning the Europa League.
