Arsenal’s top goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be assessed ahead of their must-win trip to Leicester City on Sunday.

Aubemeyang had a small procedure on a sinus this week, which Arsenal revealed went well, and the Gabonese striker is in contention to start at the King Power Stadium.

Arsenal need a victory to keep their top-four ambitions alive, having suffered a dismal 3-1 defeat at Wolves in midweek – which Aubameyang missed – that left them fifth, a point behind Chelsea, who like the Gunners have three games left to play.

Chelsea go to Old Trafford later on Sunday to take on sixth-placed Manchester United in a match which is likely to play a crucial role in the outcome of the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Aaron Ramsey, Denis Suarez, Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding all remain out.

Provisional squad: Leno, Cech, Maitland-Niles, Lichtsteiner, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Mavropanos, Papastathopoulos, Monreal, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Torreira, Elneny, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Nketiah.
