The Frenchman, who lost his spot in the Arsenal starting XI following the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last month, had a minor operation on his left knee and is expected to return in March.
That means Lacazette, who signed for the club for £52m in the summer, will miss the EFL Cup final against Manchester City on 25th February, as well as the Premier League meeting between the two sides which takes place one week later.
He will also miss both legs in the Europa League last 32 against Ostersunds FK.
Lacazette bore the brunt of many of Arsenal fans’ frustrations following the 1-0 north London derby defeat where he missed a golden chance to salvage a draw with what was nearly the final touch of the game.
Aaron Ramsey could also miss the last-32 tie against Ostersunds FK after missing game with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
