Your support makes all the difference.Jack Wilshere’s goal to opening the scoring against Norwich City on Saturday has been described as “unbelievable” by Arsenal’s most creative player, Mesut Ozil, who unbelievably was not directly involved in it.
The rapid passing move between Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Wilshere has been talked up as one of the finest goals to ever grace the Premier League, and Ozil, who scored twice in the 4-1 victory, gave the goal his highest praise, saying it was just like a watching a video game.
“I've got to praise the three players involved for the first goal,” he told arsenal.com. “It was real 'tiki taka' - almost like they were playing PlayStation! It was an unbelievable goal.”
Ozil has made a fine start to his Arsenal career, with three goals and four assists from his seven appearances, but the £42.5m club-record signing from Real Madrid says his best is still to come.
“I know that I can still improve but I'm happy with my display and the performance of the team,” he said.
The 25-year-old was also delighted with Aaron Ramsey, who continued his outstanding form for the Gunners by scoring one and making one after coming on as a substitute.
“Aaron Ramsey showed that any player who comes on will do his best for the team and will get involved in tackles and attacks immediately,” Ozil added.
“That's why we've been in such good form. I'm really proud of the team. We're taking what the manager wants us to take into games and are making strides.”
