Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Arsenal teenager Alex Iwobi has hailed team-mates Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, saying that training with the "world class" pair has made him a "better player".
Iwobi made his Gunners' debut in October, and scored his first goal for the team on Saturday in the 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
The 19-year-old had also started against Barcelona at the Nou Camp last week, putting in an impressive performance against the Spanish giants.
"With going out on loan, it's men's football so you have to win all the time [and develop] that 'anything to win' kind of mentality, so you learn things quicker on loan," Iwobi told the Arsenal Weekly podcast.
"But when you're playing with world-class players and training with them every day you become a better footballer in my opinion.
"You learn a lot more training with the likes of [Mesut] Ozil and [Alexis] Sanchez."
The Gunners are next in action against Watford after the international break on 2 April.
