Next Millwall manager odds: Bookmakers split on who will replace Harris
We take a closer look at the latest betting odds for who will replace Neil Harris as manager at The Den

When it was announced that Neil Harris was standing down as manager of Millwall just over a week ago, many thought the club would have replaced him by now.
He took charge for two more games before departing following the 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough last weekend and it had been speculated that Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield was the favourite to replace him, but everything has changed since then.
He is now fifth favourite with football betting sites to become the new manager at The Den at 8/1, as his Wycombe side still sit top of the League One table.
As a fan favourite with the Chairboys, first as a player and now manager, it would no doubt be a big wrench to leave Adams Park and he might prefer to manage in the Championship with the club he has spent 21 years at.
Manager | Best odds | Bookmaker |
Steven Schumacher | 4/1 | |
Stephen Bradley | 5/1 | |
Alex Neill | 8/1 | |
Gary O’Neil | 8/1 | |
Matt Bloomfield | 8/1 | |
Mark Robins | 12/1 | |
Ryan Lowe | 12/1 | |
David Wagner | 14/1 | |
David Livermore | 14/1 |
Schumacher the new favourite
When betting sites first announced the possible replacements the usual suspects were all there; Steve Cooper, Mark Robins, Michael Appleton and Steven Schumacher. THe latter was 20/1 to take his first role since leaving Stoke in September.
The former Plymouth boss is now 4/1 with on betting apps to be the new Millwall boss and he would no doubt love the chance to show what he is capable of given half a chance.
He was promoted to the Championship with the Pilgrims in 2023 after a 13 year absence but will feel he didn’t really get a chance at Stoke, lasting just 32 games.
A new name in the frame
Another new name in the mix is Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley, who is now second favourite at 5/1.
The former Arsenal trainee, who spent most of his playing career in Ireland has been in charge of Rovers since 2016 and guided them to four successive League of Ireland Premier Division titles from 2020 to 2023.
Gary Rowett was among the favourites for a return to Millwall, the club he spent four years in charge of before leaving in 2023.
Since then, the Oxford United job has come up for grabs and he is the clear favourite to take over at the Kassam Stadium as he seemingly seeks a new challenge.
Outside bets
Former Huddersfield and Norwich boss David Wagner is now 14/1 for the role along with caretaker manager David Livermore.
Wagner, 53, has been out of work since being sacked by Norwich in May, following their 4-0 aggregate play-off semi-final loss to Leeds United.
After also managing Schalke and Young Boys, in Germany and Switzerland respectively, a move to Millwall might be something of a culture shock.
It looks unlikely Millwall will have appointed a new manager before Saturday’s home match with Blackburn and with Christmas almost upon us, Livermore could be in charge for longer than was originally thought.
