Here is Nicklas Bendtner scoring a thrilling equaliser against Chelsea to take the match into penalties, and then after scoring the winning penalty, sending the crowd wild with a hilarious bird-dance celebration.
Unfortunately for the striker, however, this all happened in the virtual world of Fifa 14.
On Danish TV this week, Bendtner was a guest in the studio and chose Arsenal as his team. He then proceeded to pick himself ahead of regular Gunners striker Olivier Giroud.
Then the vital game went to penalties, and Bendtner then decided to pick himself as the fifth and final penalty taker for Arsenal. He coolly sent the goalkeeper the wrong way and, just like on the television, began to dance around the room in triumphant fashion.

None of this, of course, will have sway Arsene Wenger’s decision on whether he ever plays again for Arsenal. He is out of contract in the summer, and Wenger has indicated that his career at the Emirates is over after he was involved in an incident in Copenhagen earlier this month, allegedly clashing with a taxi driver.
