Fresh from winning the 4x100m relay with his team-mates at the Glasgow Commonwealth games, Bolt was in Brazil as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Bolt ran against Briton Mark Lewis-Francis in a special event on the Copacabana beach, winning the four man race in a sluggish (for him) time of 10.06 seconds.
The 27-year-old admitted he needed more races to get fit, saying: "I had a poor start but I regained some of my poise later in the race. I felt a bit heavy, and I need to compete in more races... I will be in better shape after that."
He then took to the beach to take part in FootVolley, volleyball using your feet, showing off a handy flick that won his team a point.
Bolt is an avid Manchester United fan and has previously stated he dreams of one day playing for the club when he retires from athletics.
