Premier League preview: A statistical look at all this weekend's games, including Newcastle v Sunderland, Arsenal v Crystal Palace and Manchester City v Chelsea

There have only been three meetings between West Ham and Swansea in the Premier League and the away side have never scored. Given the fact that no side have kept more clean sheets than the Hammers this season (10), Sam Allardyce will be hoping for another shut out come Saturday.

Gus Poyet has done an excellent job in turning the fortunes of Sunderland around, with the Black Cats falling to defeat just once in their last eight league games. Adam Johnson has been the catalyst of late, either scoring or assisting each of the side's last seven league goals, and he netted in this fixture against Newcastle last season.

Stoke and Manchester United have faced one another 11 times in the Premier League, with the Red Devils dropping just two of a possible 33 points in those matches.The Potters have now failed to score in three successive matches and no side have picked up fewer points in their last six games in the league (1).

Tottenham have now won five away matches in a row, which is the longest such run in the Premier League all season. They travel to visit a Hull side that have conceded just eight goals at the KC Stadium - with only Arsenal conceding fewer at home - though no side has lost more matches on the bounce at present than the Tigers (4).

The away side has never won over the 11 times that Fulham and Southampton have met in the Premier League. The Cottagers then, who sit in the relegation zone at present, will hope that continues this weekend against a Saints side that have won just one of their last 8 league matches on the road.

Two of the Premier League's ever-presents meet on Saturday as Everton host and Aston Villa side that they've not beaten in the league at Goodison Park since 2006. Christian Benteke has scored in three consecutive matches having gone 11 without a goal and netted a brace in this fixture one day shy of a year ago.

Only Crystal Palace have scored fewer goals than Cardiff (17) and Norwich (18) this season so it's little surprise that the reverse fixture between themselves and Arsenal the two ended goalless. The Bluebirds are still looking to pick up their first points under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and may not have a better chance against a Canaries outfit with just seven away goals.

Liverpool will be in buoyant mood following their 4-0 rout over Everton in midweek, while West Brom were on the wrong end of a derby result of their own at Aston Villa. Although both are firing on all cylinders this season, neither Luis Suarez nor Daniel Sturridge has ever scored at the Hawthorns.

Arsenal have conceded just once in seven home games and host a Crystal Palace side that have scored the fewest goals on the road (5) on Sunday. Tony Pulis has revived a campaign that looked dead in the water for the Eagles nevertheless, picking up 16 points in 11 matches in charge compared to the three that predecessor Ian Holloway managed in his eight Premier League matches at the helm.

The away side has not won in the last seven Premier League meetings between Manchester City and Chelsea, and Pellegrini's men look a cut above the rest right now. The Blues may have kept 3 clean sheets in a row on the road but will do well to stretch that run against a City side that have averaged 3.8 goals per game at the Etihad in the league.
