Copa America Special, Episode 8 (12 July): El Show was on the scene in the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes to see Argentina finally get their Copa America act together. It all got too Messi for Costa Rica as Argentina turned on the style and sent their guests back to the tropics. The hosts' win is dissected, Carlos Tevez pops up with another “very difficult” question and the paf.com bets of the day are dealt out. Here we go again…

Copa America Special, Episode 6 (8 July): What better way to spend a day stranded in Santa Fe than convalescing with the Colombian camp. El Show takes in a training session with the Group A leaders and catches up with El Cole, the Colombian birdman. Tevez pops up with another "very difficult" question before we look back on a cracking contest between Costa Rica and Bolivia. There will be buzz, here we go again...

Copa America Special, Episode 5 (7 July): COLOMBIA!!! COLOMBIA!!! El show was in prime position to come direct from Colombia´s draw with hosts Argentina. The Beast is buzzing is this edition that takes in the game as well as a look around the stadium of Santa Fe's other Primera A team. Carlitos even manages to raise his spirits long enough to fire off another question, at least he did something right last night! Here we go again...

Copa America Special, Episode 4 (6 July): It all got very messy on el Show's first day on the road. The hosts waded into a kick about on the pitch Lionel Messi first stroked the leather and then had a look around his old neighbourhood. Listen in for a guided tour of the Rosario's south side. After finding out more about the inception of la Pulga we headed off to watch the Argentina team train ahead of the Group A clash with Colombia. As well as a preview of Wednesday night's game we have Messi's international strike partner popping up with another "very difficult" question. Here we go again...

2011, Episode 21 (22 June): The last but by no means least in el Show's series of Copa America preview podcasts sees the host nation coming in for the full treatment. Argentina's best loved sports writer, Ezequiel Fernández Moores from La Nacion, is on board to share his views and Carlitos Tevez is feeling good to be back as he fires off yet another question for the listeners. 2011, Episode 20 (14 June): It's all about A Seleção for this week's Copa America special as we move our feet to the beat of football in Brazil. 2011, Episode 19 (7 June): Mexico's El Tri comes into sharp focus this week as we get to grips with the nation ahead of their trip to the 2011 Copa America. No stone is left unturned as we welcome on Carlos Contreras Legaspi, editor of La Aficion, to talk about a jam packed couple of months of football for Mexico's national teams. 2011, Episode 18 (1 June): We're well out of the comfort zone this week as we cross the Panama Canal and hit the tropical shores of Costa Rica. Expert opinion on La Sele is supplied by Claudio Villalobos of Ticodeporte and also Diego Brenes from Costa Rica’s Canal 7. The Pura Vida continues throughout el show so shake out a little soca, shimmy to the salsa, bogle to the bachata, mince to the merengue and cavort to the cumbia. 2011, Episode 17 (24 May): The marching powder is served as el Show comes up to the heights of Bolivia for the latest instalment in our series of Copa America specials. The first ever Bolivian to grace the English Premier League, Jamie Moreno is on the show giving us his take on football on both sides of the pond and Ramiro Sanchez from Radio Panamericana in La Paz is back to offer his opinons on la Verde ahead of the Copa America. 2011, Episode 16 (17 May): The latest stop on el show's tour of South America and beyond sees the hosts tackling la costa caribe. Just as Venezuela's esteemed leader likes to upset the apple cart on the global stage, we find out how his national football team are doing their best to take a coca leaf out of his book. Along for the ride is Venezuela's number one fan, Jorge Pulido of Planetavinotinto Radio, plus Laureano Gonzalez, vice-president of the Venezuelan Football Federation. 2011, Episode 15 (11 May): Rohayhu Paraguay! El Show has reached the midpoint of our Copa America merry-go-round and there’s no better place to be than Paraguay, right in the heart of the Americas. Roque Santa Cruz is on the show giving us his impressions of international and domestic matters and Marcos 'OSage' Lavieri joins us for a Copa Libertadores last 16 post-mortum. This celebration of Paraguayan football was timed to coincide with the nation’s bicentennial anniversary of independence. The Guaraní state of mind is indeed a Roque road, here we go again...

2011, Episode 14 (4 May): Time to wake up and smell the coffee on El Show as we unveil our Colombian Special. We're all over to Ale's place in Bogota for a full investigation into the bittersweet history of football in Colombia. To help us in our quest we hear from Alexis Garcia, one time Copa Libertadores and current head coach of La Equidad. Pour out the lulo juice, crank up the porro music, the ajiaco, frijoles and sancocho soup is served. Plus there’s a side order of football, here we go again!

2011, Episode 11 (12 April): El Show throws open the Ecua-doors of perception as we once again make a pacific coast stop-off as part of our season of Copa America specials. With a size ten Puma King in both hemispheres we tackle football in Ecuador with the help of some star guests straight out of the top Ecua-draw. From the rough ground of Valle del Chota to the golden sands of Montañita, el show embarks on a monumental Ecua-tour. 2011, Episode 10 (5 April): To kick-off a 12 part series of Copa America Specials, El Show takes a trip to Peru and examines the state of play in the land of the Inca Empire. Nobby Solano drops in for a chat and top Peruvian pundit Eddie 'The Lion of Lima' Fleischman is also onboard to share his views. 2011, Episode 6 (8 March): El Show gets into full Carnival mode to bring you all the best news and views concerning South American football. Two-time Copa America winner Diego of Wolfsburg plays a blinder in the big interview as he talks Steve McClaren and give us his thoughts on the Premier League. Also on the show this week we hear the story of Huracan FC London and also get the latest on the wild man of Colombian football. 2011, Episode 5 (2 March): Carnival season is upon us and what better way to get in the mood than with our festival of South American football. Stop press! Brazilian international right-back Rafinha is on the show talking up a move to the English Premier League. We're not reporting the news, we're making it! Brazil is also represented by Marcos 'O Sage' Lavieri who makes sense of the samba beat on our behalf. 2011, Episode 4 (24 February): Argentina comes into sharp focus as we welcome on el diez del diario, Ezequiel Fernández Moores, for a specially extended interview to cover league, cup and international action. An early spring harvest of a show also features a Grêmio fan's take on Ronaldinho's move back while Carlitos Tevez pops up with yet another of his 'very difficult' questions. 2011, Episode 3 (16 February): Even with the big Brazilian hanging up his boots we still found room on the show for a top to bottom look at football in South America. Respect is paid to Ronaldo but there's simply too much going on to get stuck in the past. The Lion of Lima, Eddie Fleischman, is on to tell us about the South American under-20 Championships which just wrapped up in his backyard. Also in the mix is anything and everything which caught our eye in the past week, the regular features such as a translated Song from the Throng plus the story of a professional footballer with Aids. 2011, Episode 2 (9 February): International friendlies are on the menu as the football action catches fire in South America. Copa Libertadores and local leagues are kicking off and we give special attention to Colombia in this week's edition. Juan Felipe Mejia from the Colombian Football Federation joins the hosts in discussing the upcoming FIFA under-20 World Cup. 2011, Episode 1 (2 February): With the Copa Libertadores and the South American under-20 Championship in full swing we could delay no longer so here is a fresh slice of the show. All the big topics are covered, such as Ronaldinho and Rivaldo's return to Brazil, plus features such as Song from the Throng and Carlitos' Question make a return. Episode 16 (15 December): The last show of 2010 sees the hosts get their hands on ridiculous amounts of silverware as championships close down in Argentina, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela while Colombia keeps serving up the good stuff. Episode 15 (8 December): With league champions being crowned left, right and centre in South America the show embarks on a whistle stop tour of the continent to bring you the latest developments. Crowd favourite Marcos 'O Sage de Sao Paulo' Lavieri returns to give his thoughts on the last day of the season in Brazil and the fun stretches north of the border with Mexico and the U.S.A. getting in on the action. Episode 12 (19 November): Club and national derbies take centre stage as the hosts break down what happened in Buenos Aires' El Superclásico and the unfriendliest of friendlies: Argentina - Brazil. The big interview brings Uruguayan journo extraordinaire Diego Muñoz, aka "The Count Of Montevideo", to discuss Tabarez's plans for La Celeste as well as to run the rule over the local league scenario. Episode 6 (6 October): The show is honoured to welcome on Mel Young, co-founder and president of the Homeless World Cup. Mel tells us about his trip to Rio for the eighth edition of the tournament. Staying in Brazil we are joined by the Sage of Sao Paulo, Marcos Lavieri, who tells us even former World Cup winners can end up living on the streets. Episode 2 (7 September): With six of South America's national teams drafting in new head coaches in recent months the show looks at how these gaffers are coping with the current international break. Tim and Ale are helped in their investigation by a clutch of the continent's top journos, new signings Eddie Fleischman of Peru and Diego Arcos of Ecuador join the old guard of Argentina's Gaby Franchini and Brazil's Marcos Lavieri.
