Your support makes all the difference.The Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller has been arrested after an incident at a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Fuller is accused of assaulting a 21-year-old man in the bar area of JFK nightclub in Hanley. Staffordshire Police said the victim suffered "minor facial injuries and did not need hospital treatment".
The incident, at around 1am on Sunday, came just hours after Stoke's 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers. According to Staffordshire Police the 30-year-old Jamaican international has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Better news for Stoke manager, Tony Pulis, is that his captain, Abdoulaye Faye, could make his return to first-team action in tonight's match at Wigan Athletic. Andy Wilkinson, who received stitches to a head injury picked up against Blackburn on Saturday, is also available for selection. Wigan have no new injury problems.
Zamora and Davies expected to return for Fulham tonight
Bobby Zamora has recovered from a virus and is expected to return for tonight's visit of Burnley while Simon Davies is also available after overcoming an ankle problem.
South Africa international Kagisho Dikgacoi misses out due to the ankle ligament injury he sustained against Bolton and is expected to be sidelined for six weeks. Burnley, still looking for their first away win in the league, could welcome back Stephen Jordan but are still missing Graham Alexander (calf) and Steven Caldwell (groin).
McCall leaves Bantams after defeat to Bury
Bradford City manager Stuart McCall has resigned following a meeting with joint chairman Julian Rhodes. McCall, installed as manager in May 2007, announced his intentions to stand down after Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Bury left the Bantams languishing in 16th place in League Two.
A statement issued by the club said: "The decision was felt to be in the best interests of all parties. The club would like to place on record its appreciation for Stuart's efforts as manager over the past two years and seven months."
Benin team dissolved after poor Cup of Nations
benin Coach Michel Dussuyer has been sacked along with his technical and playing staff following their failure at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations.
"A decision has been made to dissolve the national team," said the Benin Football Federation. "In making the decision the members of the executive committee took into account the indiscipline, lack of patriotism and lack of team results at the African Nations Cup."
