From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Oulala boast the most sophisticated scoring matrix in fantasy football, which comprises 70 different statistical criteria sourced straight from Opta. The ideal tool to identify the right players to pick in fantasy football.

We've pored over the stats and have come up with three bargains that you should be looking to bring into your fantasy football team this weekend.

Yohan Cabaye has been Crystal Palace's star player this season and the stats back it up. The Frenchman is the Eagle's top scorer with four goals, three of which have come from the penalty spot. The 32 shots by Cabaye is the most by any player at the club, with his shot accuracy sitting at a modest 48 per cent. The 29-year-old has completed the second most successful passes per game for Palace (32), two fewer than midfield partner James McArthur (34). His passing accuracy of 84 per cent is the fourth best from any player at the club. Cabaye has provided the second most key passes for the Eagles (17), behind Jason Puncheon (19) and his one assist has only been bettered by McArthur and Puncheon who have two assists each. The 40 tackles that Cabaye has won is almost twice as many as any other Palace player. He also leads for interceptions by a fair distance. The 51 he has made dwarfs second placed McArthur's 30. Cabaye faces former club Newcastle this weekend, a side that has shipped 13 goals away from home and who are currently experiencing a terrible run of form.

If you've already got Ross Barkley or Romelu Lukaku in your fantasy football side, or you simply can't afford them, then a cheaper option from Everton comes in the form of 21-year-old Gerard Deulofeu. The former Barcelona forward has created a total of 13 chances for his teammates, at an average of one every 41 minutes. Deulofeu's passing accuracy sits at a reasonable 78 per cent. He has completed 17 successful dribbles this season. When broken down to a per minute basis, the forward has the best completed dribbles ratio at Everton, completing a take on every 31 minutes. The Toffees go to Bournemouth this weekend, a team that has conceded nine goals at home. Interestingly, four of Deulofeu's five assists have come away from Goodison.

One player that may have fallen off your fantasy football radar could be Stoke City's Marko Arnautović. The Austrian has been one of the stand-out performers for the Potters this season. Arnautović is the club's joint leading scorer with three goals from midfield. His 19 shots is the most from any player in the side. The 26-year-old has completed an average of 26 successful passes per game at an accuracy of 84 per cent. Arnautović has created the most chances for Stoke (19) and has also provided the most assists (2). The Austrian has also completed the most successful dribbles of any player in the team (18). Currently outshining star names such as Xherdan Shaqiri and Bojan, Stoke travel to Sunderland this weekend, a side that has conceded eight goals at home. Notably, two of Arnautović's three goals have come on the road.
