But Wrexham have regained control of the stadium after Birmingham High Court awarded them control of the registered freehold. Hamilton's only recourse is to the Court of Appeal after Judge Norris QC refused permission for an appeal at a lower court.
A club statement said: "Subject to the outcome of the appeal process our intention is to seek a sale of the club at the earliest opportunity in the hope of ensuring its long-term survival."
