Your support makes all the difference.BT Sport has added details of new programmes and presenters to its network of channels and revealed more about its new 'state of the art studios.'
The new channel released a statement explaining its plan to revolutionise coverage of sport and football, including a new interactive playing surface that can be used to demonstrate moves in football, rugby and other sports.
Programmes will include BT Sport Live, which will run every night bring the latest sports news, information and debates. The show will feature outspoken former football manager Neil Warnock as a contributor along with Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher.
Tuesday and Sunday will feature BT Sport Films, a series which will set out to become the home for the stories of sport, personalities and issues that fascinate sports fans.
Sunday night will be dedicated to European football, with expert James Richardson hosting Sunday Night Football along with a panel of experts to discuss the game across the continent.
Rugby fans will have their own show on Wednesday nights, when Rugby Tonight – hosted by Matt Dawson, Craig Doyle, Martin Bayfield and Sarra Elgan – will review the week’s news, along with their exclusive coverage of the Aviva Premiership.
BTSP (BT Sports Panel) will kick-off Saturday morning’s with Tim Lovejoy returning to all things sport, having previously worked with Sky on their trademark football show Soccer AM. BTSP will bring predictions, previews, reviews and laughs to start the weekend.
Meanwhile, Tuesday’s will see an hour dedicated to the latest news and previews of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, with BT Sport’s exclusive access bringing you UFC: Beyond the Octagon.
Former Scotland captain Gary McAllister will join the team as co-commentator for their Scottish football coverage and other top flight football.
Neil Warnock said: "I'm used to starting a new season in the dugout so this is going to be a very different year for me. I'm proud to be joining the BT Sport team and excited by their vision for Football. I think everyone knows that I won't sit on the fence when it comes to opinions so it should be an interesting season and I can't wait to be a part of it."
Grant Best, BT Sport’s EMMY award winning, senior executive channel producer, said: “BT Sport is absolutely dedicated to giving fans a fresh, authoritative and innovative approach to the sports they love. Our exciting line-up of expert presenters and programmes from BT Sport’s state of the art studios will re-imagine the way fans watch, discuss, debate and absorb sport.”
All this is added to their 38 live Premier League matches, with 18 top picks being shown from August 2013, and exclusive coverage of the Aviva Premiership, with 68 matches being shown throughout the season, including four games on the opening weekend.
