Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema reportedly escaped unharmed from a minor car accident on his way home from his team's 1-0 defeat to Barcelona last night.

According to Spanish sports daily Marca, the Frenchman's vehicle was seriously damaged when he hit a barrier while travelling in the Madrid suburbs, but the player was not hurt.
