Manchester United flop Anderson finally left Old Trafford in the January transfer window, moving back to his homeland of Brazil.
Once bought by Sir Alex Ferguson for just shy of £20million, Anderson struggled with form and fitness throughout his time in the North-West, with numerous accusations he was overweight.
Those hoping Anderson's career may be rejuvenated in Brazil Things have not gone so smoothly for the 26-year-old since retuning to Brazil with Internacional.
On his debut last week Anderson came on as a substitute with 15 minutes left but missed a penalty.
The match on Tuesday night saw Internacional face The Strongest in the Bolivian capital of La Paz - the world's highest capital city, La Paz is at an elevation of 11,75ft above sea level.
Clearly still way below full fitness, Anderson managed just 36 minutes of the Copa Libertadores match before being substituted and heading straight for the oxygen bottle.
