During a pre-season friendly between a local German side and SC Freiburg's women's team, a dog found its way onto the pitch.
The pooch spotted the run of Freiburg midfielder Lina Magull, who was keeping track of a lofted through ball, and decided to make an intervention.
Oblivious to the approaching mutt, before Magull could bring the ball down, she was sent flying when the dog blocked her run.
Hoping few had spotted the embarrassing intervention, it turned out Magull's teammate Clara Schone caught the incident on camera before uploading it to the internet for everyone to enjoy.
