Manchester United face Spanish opposition once again in the Europa League as Erik ten Hag’s side continue their European campaign against Real Betis in the last-16 tonight.

United defeated Barcelona in a thrilling play-off tie in the previous round, after also facing Real Sociedad in the group stages.

However, United’s 7-0 defeat against Liverpool has taken some of the shine off their recent run, with Ten Hag’s side progressing on multiple fronts before being stunned at Anfield.

United have the chance to respond as they travel to Real Betis, who sit fifth in LaLiga and held European champions Real Madrid to a 0-0 draw on Sunday.
