Pep Guardiola is believed to have few major injury concerns ahead of the second leg after Phil Foden overcame a foot injury to start against Crystal Palace. Both Riyad Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne are in line to return to the starting side having missed out on the Selhurst Park win, while Kyle Walker may also be promoted from the bench.
RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku has suffered another injury blow, with the Frenchman absent for the 3-0 weekend win against Borussia Monchengladbach. Illness also struck Marco Rose’s side ahead of that fixture, but all of Timo Werner, Konrad Laimer, Dominik Szoboszlai and Lukas Klostermann were named in the matchday squad.
