Son Heung-min scored a lightning-quick double for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City on Wednesday night, in a thrilling first-half at the Etihad Stadium.

Spurs arrived in Manchester hoping to keep things tight, but their evening got off to the worst possible start when Raheem Sterling gave the home side the lead.

However Son was on hand to restore Tottenham’s advantage when he struck on the counter-attack. Dele Alli’s intercepted pass to Christian Eriksen fell kindly to Son, who rifled in a low shot which squirmed under the body of Ederson.

Moments later and he was at it again, Lucas Moura robbed Aymeric Laporte and found Eriksen, who released Son on the edge of the box.

Son cut inside on his right foot and unleashed a fierce curling shot, which flew across Ederson and landed in the top corner of the net. You can watch theat goal below.
