At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Both sides enjoyed periods on top in an entertainingly end-to-end game.
Olivier Giroud gave Chelsea the lead just before half-time after a brilliant run from Christian Pulisic. The United States international weaved his way through the Liverpool defence before Giroud finished with a confident first-time shot.
But immediately after the break Sadio Mane bundled home a leveller and the Senegal international gave his side the lead in extra-time with a thumping finish.
That wasn’t enough to win the game, however, as only a few minutes later Jorginho equalised from the penalty spot. But Chelsea’s luck with penalty kicks was to run out later in the night, when Tammy Abraham missed to crown Liverpool champions.
