It was on the course that the West Brom's Foster played the old exploding ball prank on Celtic's Forster as he went to drive from the tee, using a golf ball that can be bought in all good joke shops.
Forster found the jape hilarious, as he captured on film by Foster, who quickly posted it on his Instagram account with the caption: "Got big Fraser Forster to fall for the exploding ball trick."
England get their World Cup campaign underway against Italy in the sweltering Manaus on 14 June, before playing Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D.
