Arsenal boss Wenger was himself once top of the Football Association's wanted list, but the Frenchman remains committed to the Gunners' cause, having just signed a contract extension.
Wenger firmly believes the next man in charge of the Three Lions must be home-grown.
"I always come out with the same answer. Let the national team take somebody from England and that represents the country. That is the best way to do it," he said.
