Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The game encourages kids aged between 7 and 13 years old to play and learn at the same time. Packed with hundreds of fun, educational games focused on the Key Stage 2 syllabus, it’s an amazing football-themed learning tool which is already being played by thousands of kids around the country.

Your kids will love Footee 2010. They get to play great interactive games, socialise with other kids in a safe online environment, and have fun whilst learning. By successfully completing each game, they earn credits which can be used to enhance their avatar character or buy players for their Footee team. The more educational games they play, the more fun they can have on the site, which obviously benefits their academic progress!

As a parent you get free updates on your child’s learning progress, and you can even get recommendations for games your child should be playing to further advance their learning. Additionally, you can reward success, progress and good behaviour by assigning credits to your child using the parental control panel.
