England haven’t beaten the Netherlands in an international friendly for over 30 years – a 2-0 victory in May 1982.
Remember when...
England thrashed the Netherlands 4-1 in a group game at the European Championships in 1996. Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham scored two goals apiece before Patrick Kluivert netted a consolation for Oranje. It remains England’s only win over the Netherlands in competitive fixtures.

Dele Alli: The Spurs hotshot put in a superb performance against Germany on Saturday and, if selected against the Netherlands, it will be interesting to see whether or not Alli can maintain his high standards against another tricky opponent.
