The Chelsea sensation could make his full debut against Czech Republic on Friday, with Montenegro to follow next Monday.
And the 18-year-old rise has not gone unnoticed among his fellow players, with Arsenal prospect Reiss Nelson insisting he is “inspiring” and is making him push more.
“I’ve played against him in the youth league when he was at Chelsea,” Nelson told Sky Sports News. “He’s my friend so you want to get there as well.
“It’s very inspiring, just wants to make you push even more, train even harder and get to that level.”
Nelson will feature for the Under-21s against Poland and Germany during this international break.
While Hudson-Odoi has broken into the Chelsea first team under Maurizio Sarri this season.
With five goals and four assists in all competitions, predominantly in the Europa League, Gareth Southgate promoted the youngster for the upcoming qualifiers.
Nelson on the other hand has been on loan with Hoffenheim and featuring for England Under-19s.
