Your support makes all the difference.England are set to face Peru in their fourth and final Wembley international friendly just days before manager Roy Hodgson announces the final 23-man squad for the World Cup.
This game will be very critical as all players, especially the standbys, will get one last chance to squeeze their name in to England's World Cup squad. The Three Lions’ boss expects the South American opposition to pose a serious test ahead of their clash against Uruguay in Group D in Brazil.
Manchester United defender Phil Jones seems to be recovering well after sustaining a shoulder injury in the Red Devils’ last home match of the season. The 22-year-old took full part in Tuesday’s training session but Southampton right-back Luke Shaw is a major doubt after suffering a cold on Wednesday. Everton defender Phil Jagielka is also in contention along with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere after recovering from hamstring and foot injuries respectively.
Peru are South America’s seventh best team and are currently sitting in 38th place in the Fifa rankings’ table. The Three Lions will be travelling to Miami on Sunday for their final preparations where they will have two friendlies against fellow World Cup participants Ecuador and Honduras before their opening match in Manaus against Italy in the so-called ‘Group of Death’.

STATS:
Both sides have not faced each other for 52 years and this will be the first time ever that England will be playing as the home team.
Former Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro is Peru’s captain.
Roy Hodgson seems to have laid a lot of trust towards youth and if the roster does not change then England’s age average will be 26 years of age – compared to 27 and 28 of the 2002 and 2010 squad.
England are one of the seven European teams that finished the World Cup qualifiers undefeated.
