The uncapped Southampton pair of Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana have been called up by Roy Hodgson for the upcoming home international friendlies against Chile and Germany next week.
The duo have been in fine form for the Saints this season, with Mauricio Pochettino's side flying high in the Premier League in sixth place. Rickie Lambert, who has scored two goals in three international appearances, completes the Southampton triumvirate.
Rodriguez is included in the squad for the first time, while Lallana was called up by Hodgson for the match against Ukraine last year, but did not win a cap. Both have played for England at youth level.
England's preparation for the World Cup in Brazil begin next Friday, when they take on Chile at Wembley, and then Germany four days later.
