Made the wrong decision in coming off his line for Switzerland's first goal.

Provided some great delivery at times and relatively solid

Despite losing his partner at the back, Mavraj kept it together fairly well at the back.

Lively first half and created a number of chances for his side but insignificant second half.

The quality of his deliveries varied for much of the match. Overshadowed by his brother.

Should have done better with his chances on goal. Got himself into the right positions in the first 45 minutes but was too quiet in the second half.

Enjoyed a strong spell in the first half and worked hard to create chances for himself in the second half.

A quiet first half but came to life as the game went on and threatened with some pacey runs.

Reliable when called upon and did well to keep Switzerland's lead, especially in the first half.
Stephan Lichtsteiner - 6
Led his team well but was fortunate not to have conceded a penalty.

Took his goal well but was a bit too reckless at the back at times.

Caught in possession at times and looked slightly nervy.

Very strong first half. Threat driving forward down the left and provided a number of dangerous balls into the box.

Conceded one too many fouls.
Granit Xhaka - 7
Determined and tenacious. Provided quality passes throughout and worked hard to win the ball back.
Xherdan Shaqiri - 7
Proved very difficult to mark with his running. Great deliveries and bagged himself an assist.
Blerim Dzemaili - 6
Enjoyed a number of dangerous shots on goal.
Admir Mehmedi - 6
Solid and reliable in the middle. Did what was expected of him.
Haris Seferovic - 7
Great movement and was particularly menacing within Albania's box. Linked up well with Xhaka.
