Fulham’s scoring woes continued as their missed opportunities saw them held to a goalless Premier League draw with Everton at Craven Cottage.
After last week’s exit from both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, the west Londoners failed to bounce back with a win over an Everton side, who now sit in the bottom three following Luton’s 4-0 victory over Brighton.
Raul Jimenez, who scored four goals in December, could not replicate last month’s success before Rodrigo Muniz was largely anonymous when called upon in the second half.

Danjuma, Harrison, and Young are standing over the free-kick in a dangerous position for Everton. Harrison is the one to take, but he drills the ball into the wall and the Fulham supporters breathe a sigh or relief. Godfrey then fouls his opponent and the Cottagers can regroup with a free-kick inside their own penalty area.

How has that not gone in?! From the resulting free-kick, Young whipped it into the penalty area and Leno was there to palm it away. Tarkowski strikes it back towards goal and it deflects onto the bar, before it's poked off the line by Robinson. It was inches away from going over the line, but the Toffees somehow fail to open the scoring!

So close! Danjuma is adjudged to have handled the ball and Fulham win a free-kick. Pereira delivers into the penalty and Palhinha is there to meet it as he towers above Tarkowski, but he heads it over the bar. He will be disappointed not to have hit the target and tested Pickford between the sticks.
Fulham vs Everton
Fulham are enjoying plenty of possession so far and have had 72.2 per cent of the ball. However, they've managed just two touches in the opposition box to Everton's seven, with the away side looking like more of a threat in the final third since the game got under way. Neither team have truly threatened the opposition's goal yet, though.

Everton win the ball back once again and it finds Danjuma who drives towards the penalty area. The Dutch forward has plenty of options to his left and right but attempts a highly ambitious effort from range, and it trickles into the arms of Leno. It's a shot on target, but the Fulham goalkeeper was hardly threatened.

McNeil wins the ball back for Everton in a dangerous area, but his pass goes straight to the feet of Robinson, whose clearance cannons off Young and Fulham win a throw-in. It was a real chance for the Toffees to create something, but they need to have more conviction in the final third of the pitch.

Fulham manage to break down the left-hand side after a deflected pass finds Jimenez. The Mexican forward drives into the box and looks to attempt an ambitious outside-of-the-boot cross towards the back post, but it evades all of his team-mates and goes off the side of the pitch for a throw-in to Everton.

Pereira has gone down clutching his face after barging into Tarkowski. The referee has stopped the game just in case he needs treatment, but he's quickly back on his feet. Elsewhere, Luton have scored twice in quick succession and are currently leading Brighton 2-0, plunging Everton into the relegation zone.

A switch of play hopes to find Robinson but Godfrey has come across to fire the ball out for a throw-in. Fulham take quickly and the ball eventually finds Castagne who delivers into the area. It's headed away by Godfrey but only as far as Robinson who strikes from outside the area, but Pickford is there to palm it behind for a corner.
