Your support makes all the difference.Danny Wilson last night resigned as Swindon manager after a run of three points from 11 games left the Wiltshire side in the League One relegation zone.
“I am bitterly disappointed to be leaving,” he said. “But I know football is a results driven game, and unfortunately in the past two months the results have just not been good enough.”
Another manager to lose his job yesterday was Northampton’s Ian Sampson, who was sacked following the League Two side’s 3-2 home defeat to Burton on Tuesday. The 42-year-old has been in charge since October 2009.
