Your support makes all the difference.Watford have been fined £5,000 and West Bromwich Albion £2,500 after they were found guilty of misconduct by a Football Association disciplinary commission. Players from the two First Division teams were involved in a goal-mouth brawl during their League game at Vicarage Road in September.
Portsmouth have banned two people for life from Fratton Park after they invaded the pitch during the First Division club's recent 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest. Pompey have been asked to submit a report to the FA about the incident.
A club spokesman, Peter Jeffs, said: "We consider this was a regrettable, but isolated incident which did not involve our supporters, but two people from another area. They have been banned for life."
The Sheffield United defender Rob Kozluk is due to have another operation on his damaged knee ligaments tomorrow. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since a collision with the Manchester City midfielder, Danny Tiatto, in the goalless draw in mid-October.
Paul Cook is leaving Burnley to join Wigan in a full-time deal after a row over a new contract. Cook, a veteran midfield play-maker, wanted a new 18-month deal at Turf Moor, but the club were not prepared to offer him the security he wanted. Now Burnley have decided to let Cook go back to Wigan – his first senior club – and he will switch permanently.
